I am making some changes to the business structure just a little bit to help open tool accessibility up to others and also to give other like minded Light Painter / Inventors the opportunity to offer their own creations through LightPaintingTools.com as well! One of my goals with LightPaintingTools.com is to provide a centrally located place for anyone to obtain information and tools related to the art of Light Painting Photography. I know there are several Light Painters out there that also have an inventive side to them and some are straight up electronics geeks like myself as well. For those that would like to offer a tool or kit that they created without the headache of running a full website or business to go along with it, I am going to be offering several different options to help others get involved in the growing world of Light Painting.

Howdy Light Painting Enthusiasts!!
I made a statement on the website that our website subscribers would be the FIRST to know when a new tool is made available on our website. The time has come to make that announcement!
As some of you may already know, we (we as in my son and I) have been working on coming up with a tool that would mimic the light painting qualities found in the LED Lenser V24. After a few months of trial and error, we are very excited to officially announce that we finally have a finish product ready to market!
Introducing the new PCP for Light Painters! …. The LightPaintingTools.com – Programmed Color Phaser!!!!
The naming contest was held on both Facebook and Flickr to come up with a name for the tool and some of the suggested names were simply awesome and had me rolling in laughter! The “TxPilot Light” was a creative one that was suggested by Eric Mellinger (emellin66 on flickr)! Then there were was the “Rod of Awesomeness” suggestion by Concretin Nik and and “TxPilot’s Joystick” by vikwaters! Ha! But I think the best off the wall suggestion was by Mike Kline (NotKalvin on flickr) who suggested the name “Frank” saying that his kids use to name everything Frank! But out of all the suggestions, it was hard to come up with one that just struck me as the obvious one to use, but a few of them just stuck with me so I ended up deciding on using ~jah’s suggestion of “Programmed Color Phaser”! I think maybe that being a Trekkie sort of had me hooked on the Phaser part of that!

I found a supplier that had a range of colors for the orb tool and I have a supply ordered and on the way! I expect that they will be in stock within the next two weeks! I will have Red, Blue, Green, Orange, Purple, Pink, and White in stock very soon! And these orb tools will have 30 LEDs each instead of the 18 to 20 that have been the standard in the past! These new sets were a bit more expensive so I had to raise the price $2 each to make up for it but still a great deal!
Pre-order yours today!
Have a great week!
The LED Light Writer set is now available!
This great set of LED Light Writer key lights includes a full range of colors including a few that are very to hard to find! The Light Writers are prefect for freehand drawing in your Light Painting creations and are also great for creating great starburst effects because they are super bright!!! The momentary Push ON/Release OFF push button gives the light painter precise control over placement of light within your image.
These lights are exclusively available through LightPaintingTools.com! There are others on the market that are similar but either do not have the same easy to use mode for Light Painting Photography (Push ON/Release OFF) or are priced much higher and only sold individually and do not include this full range of colors.
Colors included in the set are White, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Aqua, Pink, Peach, and UV (Purple). (Yes, that says Peach!!!)
The New RGB LED Light Wand is here!
The RGB LED Light Wand is great for use with Light Painting portraits or in any situation where you would like to add a splash of pure color to your image. The RGB LED Light Wand can be used for adding lines, waves, or even large calligraphy type characters to your scene. Easy to use lever switches for each of the primary colors (Red, Green, and Blue) and a simple momentary push button to activate it make this tool a pleasure to light paint with! Colors can also be mixed to create Yellow, Cyan, Magenta, and White as well! The RGB LED Light Wand also comes with a slip on diffuser to give you the ability to add pinpoint lines of light or more diffused light patterns. It can be used with one or both hands giving you full freedom to vary line widths and patterns.
(The difference between the RGB LED Light Wand and the Digital Light Wand is that the RGB LED Light Wand will only light up with one single color at a time instead of having the ability through a micro-controller to light up each RGB LED in different colors at the same time.)
The RGB LED Light Wand has 30 LEDs in a .5 meter strip and uses 8 AAA batteries.
The design for the Orb Tools and Light Markers are now complete and we have ordered supplies to start producing them on a larger scale! We expect the supplies to be delivered quickly so we are starting to take Pre-orders on these products! Get yours now!
There was also a problem with the shopping cart and pricing display for the Digital Light Wands that has now been corrected. The Ultimate Tools for a Light Painter’s tool kit!
